Tubing on the Guadalupe is just ten miles away in Sattler, Texas, where there is access and egress located just yards away. The river makes a horseshoe turn and is perfect for tubing; no shuttling is necessary.

There is an equipped kitchen with stove and refrigerator. Cook your own food or drive into Sattler for Sunday breakfast. Choose from several local cafes. There is a BBQ grill at the house for steaks and hamburgers.

On a cool rainy day bring your favorite movies or choose one of ours to watch on the VHS/DVD player. Perhaps you want to catch a fall football game or sports program on cable.

Is shopping your passion? Visit the shops in Gruene, Texas, or the huge outlet mall on I-35 near San Marcos. Downtown New Braunfels offers antique stores and several restaurants. And don’t forget the Schlitterbahn, famous water park. Fiesta Texas, Sea World, and the River Walk are about an hour away in San Antonio. Spending an afternoon tasting Texas wines at a local winery is most enjoyable and Natural Bridge Caverns is just a short drive away.
